We have visited this centre a couple of times and enjoyed it greatly.
Normally on safari you see these timid creatures from, at the very least, 20 - 30 metres away and you don't really get a feel for their size. When you are eye-to-eye with one of the giraffes at this centre, you will be surprised at how big their heads are. However, they are very gentle so don't worry.
My wife was bending down to pick up some loose giraffe food to give htem when one butted her, gently, in the back with it's head. She still regards this particular exchange as one she will treasure.
If you have a couple of hours in Nairobi, get a cab out here and visit - I don't think you will regret it.
