Do you own a corkscrew with arms that as you screw into the cork the arms raise and you remove the cork by pushing the arms down?
If so you own a simple stand in Martian.
Holding the bit that fits over the neck with one hand with the handle you turn at the very top take the corkscrew tip with the other hand move it up and down so the arms go up and down. Say in a robotic voice, a bit like a Dalek, "And they cut them with their metal knives HA! HA! HA! HA!"
