Speaking of Scotland, we shamefully played a game in the Stadium in Chile after the dictatorship had used it as a place of internment and then murder for it's political opponenents.

That's exactly what the song was about. It's a condemnation of the team and that it went over and played. It's nice to finally read about the history of that song. I'd not really read anything to put it in context for me beforehand. I'm glad this article was written. Thanks!
