A Conversation for TGV - The French High-speed Train Service
Beware of Motion Sickness

I rode the TGV with a tour group form Bordeaux to Tours. The cars are so well-desinged that it is almost impossible to feel the train movement. Consequently, this confuses the brain, causing dizziness or nausea.

Hello Zerog,
thanks for commenting on this. Sorry to here that your ride was 'sickeningly smooth'. I can see what you mean about it being just so unlike regular train travel that the brain finds it confusing. All that countryside whizzing past and you feel as if you should be pulling Gs, yet there you are, carrying a tray of drinks just as you would on 'terra firma'.
apparently in your case, it induced 'terror firmer'!
