Great article - I still love the Butterscotch Angel Delight to this day, and none of the supermarket own brand ones seem to come close in taste.

Damn you, I've been arguing with my brother for years that instant whip was just Safeway's own-brand Angle delight. We had instant whip for pudding not Angel delight. Agreed that butterscotch was the best flavour though anyway.

I might howeve, if pushed, rather strongly quibble about the 'unnaturalness' of most of those ingredients listed as unnatural. Sodium pyrophosphate for a start is pretty ubiquitous in all our cells...
