Fried Pork1
Ingredients:
- 2 thick pork steaks.
- 2 red onions
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 6 potatoes
- A handful of button mushrooms
- Extra virgin olive oil
- A little butter or margerine
- A ready-made mixed herb collection cube2
- Slice the onion and garlic into strips.
- Peel and slice the potatoes.
- Melt some butter in a pan (you need enough to see visible liquid on the bottom of the pan.
- Add some olive oil and crush the cube into the liquid.
- Put the pork steaks in to fry.
- After the steak is cooked to the degree you want it, add the potatoes and mushrooms.
- When the potatoes start to brown, add the onion and garlic.
- Pour more olive oil over the lot and leave to simmer.
- After about 2 minutes the dish should be ready to serve.
