A Conversation for Healthy Snacks

Green veggies and lots of fruit!

This is the way to go if you really want to keep your weight in check: Raw green veggies as snacks (celery, green peppers, cucumbers, zuchinni, brocolli) and a mixture of fruit (apples, oranges, cantelope, peaches, bananas, etc.) And make sure you drink 8 glasses of water a day - no matter what you eat!

Absolutely agree with that. I always take at least three pieces of fruit to work with me (not including my morning glass of orange juice and the salad in my sandwiches). I also have vegetables with my dinner each day. We usually have between two and three different veggies with our dinner on Sundays as well - mainly because they're low in calories and I'm slimming at the moment.

I also keep an old, two litre mineral water bottle in the office which I fill with water each morning for drinking throughout the day. I'm too absent minded to remember to go to the water cooler that frequently so it's the only way I can make sure I get enough.
