Also, as noted in an earlier conversation post, this article should refer to Nintendo of America, not Nintendo's mother corporation, which is of course in Japan.
Also, stubborness wasn't the reason for the name "Donkey." Donkey was the equivalent Miyamoto found in a Japanese/English dictionary for a Japanese word meaning "stupid" or "goofy".

(but you may want to back that info up with something that ain't wikipedia. Nothing personal, but we have a hard time trusting wikipedia sometimes )
