I'm studying Guide Entries to get ideas. You did a great job. I liked the tidbit about the 'pound' letter originally having two lines, but eventually leading to one. Same with $ .
Interesting that the shops took advantage. Was it hard switching to the Euro?

Switching to Euro was easy for the man in the street. Once we worked out what the new prices meant, there was really no problem. The businesses on the other hand had huge problems, because they had to change all their computer systems so that records are now held in Euro instead of in Irish Pounds. This involved years of work for some companies.
