1. I can't help feeling that the name "Sheridan Whiteside" was a tribute by Kaufmann and Hart to R.B. Sheridan, and that Robert Morley's naming of his son was a reference to the playwright, rather than the character.
2. Isn't Orson's surname "Welles"?
