Hello, any Greenfields out there,

I am researching the London Greenfields from information my father told me about that connect to my family going back to around 1560 Saint Katherine by the Tower London, my grandfather had a Greenfield family tree handed down my family till a bomb hit his house in 1944 Stanhope Street Camden Town London N.W.1. and he was killed. The tree was never found.

I am now trying to put the tree back together from the names info and streets and places of London they live at from info my dad told me about from 1944 to 1960, i now have over 1,000 Greenfield names i am working on.

I think the tree started from Saint Katherine by the Tower, East London around 1560, then St Dunstan in the West, City of London, Clerkenwell, Mayfair W.1. Westminster, Soho W.1. St Andrew Holborn E.C.1. & E.C.4. Shoreditch, Bethnal Green, Islington, Kentish Town N.W.5. and Camden Town N.W.1 and all other parts of London.

What i am interested in at the moment, is there any one that can give me any info on the Greenfields that were christen at SAINT CLEMENT DANE, in the Strand London between 1750 and to 1845.

Also looking for any Greenfield names and info of Saint Martin in the Field Trafalgar Square London born between 1750 to 1840.

Scotch Church Wells Street Marylebone W.1. Wound be interested in any Greenfield names that were christen at this church.

Would be very interested in any info that connects to the above, or talking to any Greenfield that has information on any London Greenfields that was born or christen before 1799 in London.

Thanks for reading this message, any info you may have would be helpful, please put on this site or i will give you a temp e/mail address to send replies.

Thanks.
STAN GREENFIELD.
born N.W. London
