Now that the telecomms industry is in real trouble, has anybody noticed how many of the above are on TV, telling us we need new features, colours etc? Almost as annoying as the product they are selling

The remarkable thing I noticed is the blatent appeal to the most cynical type of consumerist fashion conciousness in the one that goes "are you ashamed of your old mobile phone ?"
That seems to take it all one step further down the road to complete insanity.
