The 750mL bottle is often called a "tallie" (due to it's tall appearance) as opposed to the 375mL "stubbie" (short bottle).
Other than that the article was excellent. As an Queenslander (which is better than being Australian) I was unaware of the variations in sizes of glasses with the same name in southern states.
Thanx for clearing it up.

Also some years ago the Stubbie in South Australia was renamed to the Echo. I think this was to remind people that they had a 5 cent deposit on them and as such could be returned. Most people here still call them Stubbies though.
