Hi Dr, and Mrs. Zen,

Thank you for your very accurate and informative information. I have had a TIA - but have been on aspirin since I had my open heart surgery in 1994 and was given ten years.....So I have done very well.!!

Actually somewhere along the line someone must have told me about aspirin and I have been taking 75mg of aspirin not once but twice a day for the last sixteeen years.!! I must have very thick blood because I do not even bleed easily. !!!

It is a good idea the aspirin - much better that forming a clot.

Actually it seems as if the repair to my left coronary artery which had an aneurysm has been beautifullly done - I am far more bothered by sometimes my inability to draw deep breaths. I am sure that this is where all the swimming training I did when I was young has helped me and ensured that I have a fine pair of lungs. !!!

A fine pair of lungs and a"rebore" to my heart. What more can an old biddy wish for - except perhaps a pair of legs to walk with......!

I have only ever smoked for ten years of my life....thank goodness I gave it up.

With much affecftion to you both, smiley - hug

Christiane.
