It's a video, I'm afriad, but apparently the amber fragments are from western Canada and amange to chart the evolution of feathers from hair-like things to what we think of today as feathers.

Thanks for this, even though I already knew (posted it on my Facebook account yesterday) I do appreciate such alerts just in case I'd have otherwise missed something I would find highly interesting!
This would have been a life's dream to have found such a piece of amber...imagine something so many millions of years old in the palm of your hand...and the snapshot of life then that it captured.
