I don't see how any war can be just from a Catholic point of view as war almost always goes against the commandment Thou Shalt Not Kill. And yet the message seems to be 'It's okay to kill in a just war'. Hmph! Nevertheless, looking at thousands of years of history, it seems mankind cannot avoid war.
