I will be having a bash next year, and inviting loads of people who don't know each other.
I was thinking of writing something about each person on a card: (was once a roadie for Pink Floyd; drove across the Saharah in a British Telecom Landrover; got qarter of a mile of aircraft carrier moved with a sarcastic remark - the ususal dark secrets our friends tell us in foolish moments).
Everyone would get a card when they arrived, with the instruction to find out who it relates to.
So - is that corny, or will that get my friends talking to strangers?

That doesn't sound so bad compared to some. It probably will get people talking.
Just yesterday at a Christian thing, they told us to turn to someone we didn't know and find out something we had in common. I didscovered that we both lived near large chemical plants.
