A Conversation for Abandoned London Tube Stations
A question re London Underground
funnyBillyb Started conversation Dec 17, 2007
Each year my firm comes up with a Christmas quiz to which the answers are supposed to be "unGoogleable".; This year is no exception. Is there anyone out there who can please help with the following question?
"Which four platform London Underground station has no train indicators whatsoever?"
I suspect that this is a trick question and that it is an abandoned or unused station, but I cannot find the definitive answer.
Please help or I may go a little mad over Christmas.
Kind regards

It'll probably be an open station on the periphery of the Underground, as all the central stops tend to have indicators. There's a few distant stops with four platforms:
Loughton (Central)
Richmond, Bromley-by-Bow, Barking, Upminster (District)
Moor Park, Uxbridge (Metropolitan)
Not sure how you can work out whether any of those have indicators or not, though.

Thanks Alex. Can anyone else help to narrow the search please?

I can never find them on Aldgate East station, but I think that's only got two platforms.

Possibly, but I can never find them! I don't go there often, only when I've got on the wrong train at Liverpool Street.
