Yes, thank you very much for your article. This is something that very few people actually take into consideration. In the USA there are the giant theme parks of Disney, Knotts Berry Farm and Universal, and many other places around the world have the same types of parks too. Here in New Zealand, we only have a few, but the same ettiquette applies.
I am reminded of a wonderful park in Hong Kong that I visited when I was in the Navy. And there characters in costume formed a considerable part of the scene. The kids loved it, and I was amused and happy to see that the adults were suddenly kids just for the day as well! Somehow they knew how to act in relationship to the costumed characters, with the result that everyone, the characters included, had a very good time!
I must say though, that I LOVE the little, very meaningful note at the end!
Once again, thanks for bringing up this thought, that we all may be able to draw from your statements.
