A Conversation for Applying to University

I was just wondering how much importance universities attach to applicants having done work experience, since I haven't done any yet, and I'm really going to be struggling for extra curricular stuff in general to put on my personal statement.

Hiya Bouncy, I work at a uni and I've been through UCAS form hell twice and I'd be more than happy to give you some ideas/suggestions but what gets put on a UCAS form generally depends hugely on the course you are applying for.
Don't worry about work experience (I only got some work experience during my last summer at home - long after the forms had been sent off and offers made) most uni's aren't looking for someone who can flip burgers or work a till - they're more interested in attracting intelligent students who are interested in their subject and are have got their heads screwed on ok
