A Conversation for Applying to University

from experience, is as tempting as it to have instant friends, try and choose a different university from your mates.
I went to Warwick and didn't know anyone when arriving. is a good description of how I was feeling at the time. My brother on the other hand went to Leeds, as did loads of his friends from his school and other schools nearby. He did not go into halls, but rented a house with his friends. He would agree that he missed out on a lot, he never really broke out of this close circle of friends and it was all rather incestuous.
We both had a great time, but I got to meet a wider variety of people and broadened my horizons a lot more.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
