A Conversation for How to Make an Amateur Film

where do you get actors? do you have to move in theatrical circles or can you just burst into the middle of a play or something and shout 'come with me!'?
i'd like to make an amateur film someday but my friends aren't really actors, which is why i'm asking.

No you don't have to move in theatrical circles. And cause it is amateur it doesn't matter if the acting isn't all that good. Your freinds are probably the best people to ask.

i do have a friend back home whom i suspect of being a bad actor but nevertheless had the guts to make a film... so, no fear...
