I always have a project with me. Knitting, crocheting, counted cross stitch and similar types of stitchery keep me busy. I spend a lot of time waiting for my children when they are at their various activities. This helps pass the time and keeps all of my friends and family in afghans.
You can also donate blankets, mittens and hats to charities which welcome these items. So you not only pass the time but help those in need, too.
