This was proved in my town, which has a fairly low crime rate anyway.
After CCTV was installed in the high street, crime moved to the hight street down the road. So it was extended there. Then it moved to the sports center, extended again. Moved to the railway station, extended again.
Now it seems crime has moved to another town, although we still get our fair share of fights, vandalism, thefts from cars outside these area etc.
And as I know two ex employees of the town's CCTV, the men they employ seem to be social misfits that use the cameras to lech at women. And stalk them. And take photos of them.
Marvellous.

Dear Mina,
Re the leching - enchanting stuff, isn't it? So much for all the careful checks and monitoring of staff I get told about.
If your mates ever want to talk to an interested journalist who knows what an anonymous source is... do get in touch.

I'll have a word with one of them. The other one is my ex husband, and I doubt he'd admit to the stalking bit, as it was me he was stalking.

My mate Spikey said to give you his email address, but I can't here, so I'll give you mine - [email protected], and I'll forward whatever you send to him. He'll reply directly.
