While cats like things that go crackle (hence the reason they eat june-bugs\grasshoppers) They also like things that go Dingle Dingle. For example, a small ball or mouse shaped thing that has a even smaller bell inside that dingles every time it moves. This drives all the cats I know just as wild as any other noise.
