...being born cross-eyed - ha! Bet you didn't think about that!
...this is usually corrected by glasses (if you have to wear them anyway, because of short-sightedness)...
...but whenever I grow really tired, like staying awake for more than 24 hours in a row, or using contact lenses (can't correct cross-eyedness with lenses) I go cross-eyed - and because I'm so familiar with it, I can also do it 'on demand'...

I was born with it - some of my earliest memories involve hospitals when I underwent operations to try and correct it. They were about 90% successful. My squint only shows if I'm tired now.

Same is with one of my friends - she had operations too... I'm glad glasses are enough to correct mine... and somehow using glasses has tought me not to cross my eyes unnecessarily even when using lenses - unless I'm very tired...
