I think Weber should be talked about more frequently. He's great and I wish people would eshew the notion that he only wrote "glittering show pieces"! A lot of his music is sublime (slow movements of Cl. concertos + piano concertos, konzertstuke etc.) I'm playing some Crusell at the moment and Weber's influence is very apparent.
