There is one more thing that is uaeful - nay, essential - for studying with the Open University - large reserves of money. Only when you have sent for the brochures do you discover how expensive studying with them can be.

Large reserves of money are not really necessary because you can pay by instalments! However, speaking as a student, it is expensive. This is the main reason I am still writing essays after 3 years. I am paying for my education so I value it more and want to do it. Otherwise those thousands of pounds would be in vain.

It may be expensive but it still is a lot cheaper than going away to University in the normal way.
I am starting to wonder where to put my course books as they accumulate each though; need larger house...
