A Conversation for UK Petrol Stations
Forecourt TV
gj101 Started conversation Aug 13, 2001
A number of filling stations around our way have introduced forecourt TV. No programmes - just adverts.
Its usually too noisy to hear what is being sold and anyway I tend to toot my horn if the chap ahead of me is watching TV instead of getting on with filling his car up.
Definitely an idea that won't last...

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
