The church organ in the 'Stephansdom' is not one of the largest church organs in the world, it definitely *IS* the largest.
And it might be a good idea to call the Entry 'Passau, Bavaria, Germany' instead of 'Passau, Bayern, Germany', just to keep the title language consistent.
As always, when it comes to the final andjustments of an Entry, the decision is up to TPTB. I'll accept whatever they do (well, most of the time).

Right, your comment on the entry title has been chewed and digested and found, not only to be nutritous, but also correct. Hence we've now changed the title. Thank you.
As far as your claim about the 'Stephansdom' being the largest church organ in the world, is concerned, I'm inclined to disagree, simply because a cursory browse on Google threw up other candidates. See quote below taken from Organ Historical Society Catalog:
"Contenders for the 'largest church organ' title are the U. S. Military Academy Chapel at West Point (20,146 pipes, 325 ranks) Passau Cathedral (17,774 pipes) and St. Matthew's Lutheran...."
I have no way of knowing whether this is absolutely correct or not but I'm happy for us to still to say that the 'Stephansdom' is 'one of the largest' and not categorically 'the largest'.
Cheers,
Sam.

I did know that 'my' organ was not the largest organ in the world. I just knew that it is the largest church organ, and I found in my sources that there are other organs that are larger, but not in churches (one of them is said to be in a shopping mall (?), one of them in a military academy). I guess that the latter one is the West Point organ that you mentioned, Sam. I just didn't know that it stands in a chapel at West Point (that must be a hell of a chapel , sorry, pun intended ).
I checked your facts via a quick google search, and to my surprise, you're right (no mistrust, really, I just was raised with the knowledge that our organ at Passau is the biggest church organ in the world, an no thought had ever crossed my mind that this might be wrong.) I stand corrected and I'll have to have a word with all those who sstill say that the Passau organ is *THE* largest.
