My old Chemistry master, Mr Adams bless him, used to emphasise the consistency and logicality of the elemental menagerie by saying.....
"All metals end in -ium.
Bismuth, Cobalt, Copper, Gold, Iron, Lead, Manganese, Mercury, Nickel, Silver, Tin, Tungsten, Zinc".
I've never forgotten them.

Outstanding teacher as he was, he couldn't prevent me from forgetting Antimony, from the list above !

Nah, I think he'd have drawn the line at Polonium and left Astatine out in the cold.
