Good work mentioning Bungalow, the band Darren Belk was in before his spell in the Wedding Present. While he played bass in TWP, he was actually the guitarist in Bungalow, and was the driving force behind getting David Gedge to acknowledge the input of other members of the band when it came to the songs - look at the credits for most of the songs pre-Saturnalia (all attributed to Gedge) and compare it to the credits on Saturnalia!
Belk had a few problems with certain guitar effects whilst in Bungalow due to the loss of half of one leg which meant using the pedals could be tricky. The rest of Bungalow moved on to do various normal things like getting proper jobs. Adrian Smelt, the drummer now works in television. I (briefly) played keyboards and DJed with Adrians occasional band 'The Sexy Cyclops Love Band' which was a good laugh.
Various parts of Bungalow went on to become Beach Buggy.
