It seems incredible that the list of episodes could omit the Hugo award winning "The Coming of Shadows".

Also "Knives" is fairly critical to the development of Londo, and there are several others. But we're into personal thoughts there. "The Coming of Shadows" is seriously crucial to the whole series, and Londo in particular.

Indeed, The Coming of Shadows should be in there too. You know Babylon5 so you can understand that, when I drew up that list I ended up with about 35 episodes for Londo alone !

Anyway, the article is pending so I don't think I can update it atm. If or when I can I will include Shadows.

Dare I suggest "In The Beginning..." as well?

Londo played a part in the negotiations - and denial of information - that led to the Human stance in the Human-Minbari War. And the events of the 'story' itself are set against the backdrop of the ruined Centauri Prime and Londo's ongoing bitterness.

Just thought I'd suggest it.

I'd also like to add "The Long, Twilight Struggle", an episode that shows us both sides of Londo. At the beginning we see him beginning to doubt the motives of the Shadows and trying to stop the brutality of the war with the Narn, but being basically bullied into using his alliance with the Shadows to end the war (convicing himself that it will be a good thing because it will save Centauri lives). However, the other Centauri - principally Lord Refa - haven't told him the whole truth, probably because they know how he'd react, and plan to use mass drivers to bomb the Narn homeworld back to the stone age... we next see Londo on the flagship of the Centauri fleet as is attacking Narn, forced to confront the consequences of his actions (this scene is totally devoid of dialogue, and we get just the expression on Londo's face as he watches the devastation in front of him out of a window - surely one of the most powerful scenes in the whole of Babylon 5's run). And then, towards the end when the Narn surrender and he returns to Babylon 5, no longer able to affect the progress of the war and having been totally caught up in the events going on around him, he has to strip G'Kar of his ambassadorhood and throw him off the Babylon 5 council. Another brilliant scene.

Indeed that was one h*** of a bad taste he had in his mouth there.
As I said, before my prolonged absence, there are at least 35 episodes in which Londo 'makes a difference' but I wanted to limit myself to the 5 to 10 main ones. I realize I am a big big big fan of B5 and those people are always tempted to just write down all the episodes... We do not discriminate, we'll watch 'em all!

Anyway, I may update this entry in the reasonably near future(how's that for careful wording eh?) and I will reassess the episodes then.
