There's a new feature which allows to separate the author from people who contributed to the entry... could we have Witty Ditty own the main credits part please? It's so unfortunate that she turns out last in the list, just because it appears to be sorted by U-number.

Yes I agree - I don't even know why I'm on here particularly (but thanks - I did have a bit to say I suppose) but I appear to be top which makes it look like I wrote it.

More agreement to correcting the credits. All I did was make a couple of suggestions but there I am high above the person who actually did all the work. Doesn't feel right to me either

Hi folks,
There is currently no way to separate the principal author from other contributors to an Entry - they all appear in the same list in U-number order.
That feature is on the 'to do' list, but is not yet available, I'm afraid.

not even a '*' in front of the principal author, or brackets around the names of the others?

Unfortunately not. When you view an Entry, the names down the right-hand side are automatically generated from a look-up table of the U-numbers attached to the entry.
The new system, if it is implemented, will have to use another list field for 'contributing authors', which does not yes exist in the database. Until it does, there's nothing we can 'fudge', I'm afraid.
As I say, it's on the 'to do' list, and you can bet that Jim will know the best way to implement it.

Hi guys;
As sub, I was specifically asked by Witty Ditty to include all the people who were referenced as researchers. I know it looks a bit odd, what with the ordering by user no. etc, but this is what the original writer asked for.
I hope I did a reasonable job on the entry!
