Lacing gap?
2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Started conversation Jul 11, 2014
having managed to lose yet more weight... I sadly have to recognise some of my corsetry is really too small now
Potentially maybe losing more weight, though not a huge amount I'd imagine, want to get a new corset, with a bit* of leeway in, to allow for potential smaller me in future, to tight lace in it
Currently, the one I'm waering (satin, steel boned), is laced, not particularly tightly (very comfetable, could lace it tighter if I wished), and there is less than an inch gap at some points, on the back, err, actually most of it, err, OK all of it is less than a 1" gap, some nearly touching (yes, I knwo that is rather bad an idea, as I think it can damage your spine, not having a sufficient gap at teh back).
Anyhow, this is about the way I'd wear it (tightness), if I@m wearing it for a long while (like all day), so, I was thinking rather than getting one, two inchs smaller I could get one 4 inchs smaller; to allow space for my potential shinkage.... which would, leave a 4 inch gap, at the back, if I'm lacking it as tight as I have at the moment; but, of course, could tight lace that in a couple inchs if I wasn't planning on being in the corset for hours and hours and hours but; would a 3 or 4, or perhaps even 4.5 inch gap, at the back, during wear, look, or be undesirable? <2 not sure if this is the right place to post this, really... but probably makes a bit more sense than putting it in 'ask'
