I read somewhere recently that this was the biggect flea market in the world. Does anyone know if there is any truth in this?

Blues Shark - For people who like this sort of thing, then this is just the sort of thing they'll like Posted Jul 11, 2001
I think that is probably the case-a number of people have certainly said it to me since we returned from Paris.

I'm not really here Posted Jul 11, 2001
The market itself claims to be, but how can anyone really tell?

The market also has some wonderful furniture stalls.
When you have gone under the overpass, head left for about 200m and then you'll come across the most bizarre shop ever - you'll recognise it by the 18ft wooden elephant outside. When you venture in, there is an eclectic mix of furniture mad from mirrors, plastic, wood etc. I fell in love with the 18th century chinese bed, but there was also a coffee table with a picture of a young Elvis made entirely of coloured mirrored glass.
Too cool to describe.
Alse, grab a crepe while there as well as some of those sugar-coated nut thingies...
