A Conversation for World's Most Beautiful Buildings

Sam:
I can think of a few buildings that are gorgeous inside but hardly remarkable outside
(Boston's Symphony Hall comes to mind, as does Trinity Church in Copley Square).
There might be other buildings that look great from the outside (I'm thinking of the
Hotel Frontenac in Quebec; heck, just about ANY building in the old section of
Quebec is awesome in my humble opinion), but you wouldn't be thrilled about their
interiors, or might not ever have cause to go inside.
So I have to ask: are exteriors more important than interiors for this survey?
Is there a higher standard, i.e. having great interiors and great exteriors?
I am going to try to be very careful about making many recommendations, though,
as I don't know much about architecture and can't go into any deep analyses
if the discussions get detailed. Jusat curious.
