A Conversation for The Joy of Socks
loophole

Have you ever noticed that socks, around the end of their valorous lives, sometimes get an few extra cycle, due to the following loophole :
- sock is worn for a day / week / month (tick when appropriate), and at some point during that part of the cycle, a hole is discovered
- end of the day / week / ..., sock is removed and, the hole being forgotten, thrown into the laundry basket
- sock is washed, dried, folded, stored into the sock drawer
- sock is picked-up one morning, the hole is discovered again, but, "hey, I am not going to throw away a pair of socks that I just washed", and here they go, on for another day/week/...
