Anyone want to moan about Welsh success at rugby these days? Name another sport where the Welsh are rated higher than the English ('World Champions')?
As for rugby being associated with the English upper-class - I say sure it is. It's also associated with the Welsh *any* class. Never have I met such a bridger of social divides as a Welsh rugby club.
And maybe more Welsh do support and play football. Is this notable? not really. 'Country plays football' is not news. 'Tiny country in Europe is in top ten of an international sport' - now that's an achievement to be proud of!
