I was told the mites go up and the 'tites' come down 
I've never got them mixed up since.
Nice entry, I assumed the caverns were all much the same and only went round Speedwell, I'll have to go there again to visit Peak Cavern.

We always learned that stalaCtites were on the Ceiling and stalaGmites were on the Ground using the C and G to remember; not colorful, but I never forgot it...
