This was a really interesting entry. I'd never heard of it either.

As a kid I experienced what I think of as "Michelin Man Sensation" - it felt like I had swollen up to huge proportions, like the Michelin man! It was always in bed at night, probably just before I fell asleep. I wouldn't say it was either pleasant or unpleasant, just odd. I've experienced it, though very rarely, as an adult and haven't found it frightening, probably because of having also experienced it as a child.

My brother has also described the same sensation. Neither of us suffer from migraines.
