A Conversation for The 3n+1 Conjecture - Proof Needed!
Proof of Collatz Conjecture

I have almost completed a book on my proof of the Collatz Conjecture. I have a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.
I tried to contact Bryan Thwaites, but it did not go through.
I think I know of a way to cut computer time in half, anyone know
of any prizes or anyone interested in using such an idea?

If you have indeed proved this, then well done! You'll get the small prize from Thwaites and a certain amount of fame in the mathematical world. But I'll believe it when I see it. There is no such thing as an almost complete proof. If you have completed the proof, don't publish it in a book. Get it checked out by the mathematical community fist. There may be a mistake in it that you haven't spotted. It would be embarassing if this was discovered after you published it.
In general there are no prizes for proving things in Mathematics. A very small number of conjectures are occasionally associated with prizes, such as the one offered recently for a proof of Goldbach's Conjecture. For the most part though, proving these conjectures is a thankless task.
