Are they still available? They were truly disgusting but we ate them anyway.

I don't know about prawn thingies - they don't sound really great. I Canada we've got strawberries - pink marshmallow centres with red sugar on the outside, about the size and shape of a real strawberry. Fresh and soft, they're still a favorite around our house!

They probably contravene about a million European regulations!

What like the Geneva Convention ?
Apparently it was mooted to include them in plastic landmines, as they were hard enough to cause physical damage, but would pass mine detector sweeps.
Their demise obviously came with the European Parliament banning certain additives, the removal of which meant there was no product left.

They certainly were hard... maybe they should make Stealth aircraft out of them. Or aircraft full stol, light but indestructible...

You could have something there, a bit of food colouring, and hey presto, would explain the dull sheen too

Plus, if they crash (especially if it's an airliner) the crew/passengers will have something to eat instead of eating each other!

mmhm, not so sure about that.... I think I'd rather eat my fellow passengers, they were pretty disgusting sweets

Pretty disgusting - yes. But I ate more than one, so they can't be truly disgusting!

Yeah well that doesn't prove a thing, kids eat worms too, prawn thingies can be eaten and still be disgusting

Worms! Yum.
It just occurred to me that the Jelly Belly jelly beans, who now market the Harry Potter Every Flavour Beans in the States might like to make a marshmallow prawn flavoured one. Yeuch, even worse than the snot one and the horsraddish one combined!

Ok, I dialled 999, I stepped away from the prawn. 6 doctors came, they examined me, and they said I needed help!
Then they stole all my prawn thingies and ran away

Oh, sh*t. OK, phone the Prime Minister, get him to declare a state of national emergency... that many doctors on the loose with a whole load of marshmallow prawns... it's the end of the world as we know it.
