The elk test

I like that: "Failing the elk test". IE, if you turned it fairly sharply left then right, it fell over... This appears to have been fixed with its Electronic Stability Programme, which basically makes it impossible to topple, no matter how hard you try, by progressively breaking different wheels. They've probably done the suspension changes you mention too, but ESP seems to be the main thing. Neat trick.
One minor comment: it would have made more sense to give the insurance class of the vehicle, rather than the cost for a 30-yr old. If I recall correctly, it's in insurance class five, it might have been three. Either way it's low...

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
