When new and used employees come into the institution with knowledge
and skills from some other worksite, they have to be talked or intidimated into becoming a cog in the new machine instead of taking
a look around and saying,"That's not how I was taught to do it."

Efficiency takes a back seat to conformancy and the result is that
eventually the company gets drained by being a dole with a time clock. When the teat is gone, the incompetents demand to be compensated for their, um, loyalty.
