A Conversation for A Guide to the Menu at Starbucks
Alternative to Starbucks in WI

If anyone happens to be in Plymouth, Wisconsin and notices the rampant lack of even traces of Starbucks influence, be glad. It's wonderful here. We're so backward and hackneyed here in dairy country that I don't think Starbucks will ever succeed in invading. I think it's such a better experience at a *real* independant coffeehouse, where there's a good chance that one of the people behind the counter is the owner. Befitting this description exactly is the Exchange Bank Coffeehouse, right downtown on the corner of Mill and Stafford in Plymouth, WI. It's in the renovated 19th century First Exchange Bank. It's cool. They make good coffee. The girls are cute. And they're all friendly. It's a great place, and they make some WONDERFUL coffee. Plus, big bonus, nobody cares how you order it. You could even skip the Italian, just describe it in English, and probably get what you want faster. Yeah. So, if anybody ever stops in, say Hi. I'll be the big guy with the sideburns and a Hawaiian shirt, sitting on the couch in the back room.
