It was loaded into the first computer I'd ever seen, let alone operated. I used it at work, and we were encouraged to go in and play at lunch time, to get us used to, and comfortable with the computer. I wasted my lunch times for months, trying to outwit a horrible blue troll, stay out of the maze, and away from the gates of Hell. Our Corporate Purchasing Manager used to monitor us occasionally, then phone and laugh at our efforts in the game.

My parents had a lot of foresight, and purchased a computer when I was about ten or eleven and showed me how to use it. While we had some shoot-em-up games, Zork quickly became my favorite.
