Pogo sticking seems like it would be a fun and appropriate sport for just about anytime, however, there is one time when it is absolutely, categorically not recommended, and that is when one is intoxicated. I know it seems like a it would be an absolute blast at the time, but it is NOT A GOOD IDEA. I know all too well, from personal experience 
*NEVER* throw a drinking party in the storage garage of an athletic park. It might seem like a wonderful place, secluded, with heat and light, but drunk people and sports equipment are like acids and bases. They *do* mix, but the combination is often dangerous.
Ah, what the hell am I saying? That party was a frikkin' BLAST.
