A man asks a Chassidic Jew why he wears a beard.
The Chassid replies with this question,"What if on the final judgement day, God says he will only take the people wearing beards?"
The man then asks, "But what if God were to say he would only take the men without beards?"
Not to be out questioned, the Chassid asks, "So? How long does it take to shave?"

I tried telling this joke in real life to several people including a proffeser of theology and found that almost every one loved it.
