A Conversation for Washington's Crossing of the Delaware River

Some interesting things most people don't know about Washington's Crossing(I happen to by virtue of growing up about 5 minutes up the road from Washington's Crossing State Park).
Prior to the crossing the soldiers camped out in what was at the time known as Coryell's Ferry(a town later named New Hope). Among other incidents its been established that when soldiers died from exposure the bodies were stacked up in the basement of a local inn known as the Logan Inn(built around 1726) which according to local legend is now haunted by the spirit of a soldier(it is known that a few years ago a button from a uniform was found in the basement)
Also prior to crossing spies were set on Bowman's Hill to keep an eye on the Hessians(a hill in the park that's top provides a superb view of the area) upon which a tower was later built to remember this act. The hill gains its name from a Doctor Bowman who served on Captain Kid's ship and is supposedly buried there with his share of the treasure.
